Cookie Dough in a Mug Recipe

- 1 tablespoon softened butter
- 1 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/3 cup heat-treated self-rising flour
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons of walnuts (optional)
- In a microwaveable cup, combine the softened butter and sugar. Mix until the mixture is pale and homogeneous.
- Add in your vanilla extract and mix.
- Then, add your egg and mix until combined.
- Sift in your flour. Continue stirring.
- Once combined, gently fold in the chocolate chunks.
- Microwave the mixture for 1 minute.

The following recipe variation produces comparable results to the one before, except there is no egg included this time. Dig in!
- 2 tablespoons salted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon granulated white sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 tablespoons heat-treated all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons chopped dark chocolate, divided
- Combine the salted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a microwave-safe cup.
- Add your vanilla extract to this mixture and whisk until incorporated.
- Add the flour and baking powder to the cup. Mix.
- Fold in 2 tablespoons of chopped dark chocolate with care. Finish with the remaining 1 tablespoon of chopped chocolate on top of your well combined dough.
- Microwave the cookie in a cup for one minute, then let it cool for one minute.
Cookie Dough Cake Mug Recipe (Healthier!)

- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 2-3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
- In a microwaveable cup, combine the oil, sugar, and vanilla essence.
- Add salt, water, and baking soda to this. Mix until well blended.
- Mix in the oat flour and ground flax. Avoid over-mixing.
- Fold in your mini chocolate chips.
- Using a spoon, press the top down. If desired, top with extra chocolate chips.
- 45 seconds in the microwave. Check for completion. If necessary, microwave for an additional 15-20 seconds, or until thoroughly cooked.
- Allow to cool at least one minute before eating.
A Note on Eating Raw Cookie Dough
It is critical that you heat-treat your flour before trying any of these recipes. Even while you are technically microwaving the flour in each batch, it may not be long enough to kill all of the germs.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to heat-treat your flour. Bake for 5-10 minutes, spreading the flour thinly on a baking sheet. Allow the flour to cool completely before proceeding.
